Greetings from IDOL

Centre for Quality Assurance of Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL), University of

Mumbai is celebrating the birth anniversary week of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and Dr. B. R.

Ambedkar on 14th and 15th April 2021.

On the occasion of this Essay writing and Poster making event is organized. The themes for the

essay writing are as follows:

1. Mahatma Phule’s thoughts on Agrarian Crisis

2. Mahatma Phule as a Social Activist

3. Foreign Policy of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar

4. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s thoughts on Water Crisis

Any topic relevant to the above themes are welcomed.

The themes for the Poster making are as follows:

1. Life and Mission of Mahatma Phule

2. Life and Mission of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar

Submission guidelines:

1. Participants can use any one of the following languages: English/Marathi/Hindi.

2. The maximum word limit for the essays is 1000 words.

3. Mention your name and other details such as email address and phone number in the

Essay and on the Poster.

4. Submit the essays and posters in PDF and Word format.

5. The last date to submit the Essays and Posters is 20th April 2021.

6. Selected Essays and Posters will be published in ‘Eklavya Journal of IDOL, University of

Mumbai.

7. All the participants will get the certificate for participation from IDOL, University of

Mumbai.

8. Participants should submit their Essays and Posters to the following email address:
